Hey everyone, I thought I might post a thread about my VLT. I have been building for some time now and its all starting to come together (finally)! It's a 1987 Series 2 VL Calais Turbo with 145'000km's on the clock and I'm the 3rd owner and all in all it's in great condition! 6 months before buying this car I had wrote of my old one which was running a rb26det with a gt35/40 making 437rwhp. I ripped the motor out of the wrecked shell and sent it to bresciani racing for a 26/30 combo which includes arias pistons, scat rods, harrop head stud kit, hks 272 cams 11mm lift, hks heavy duty valve springs, 1600cc injectors, 6 boost manifold and a garrett GT4202 turbo and what ever else John put in there in order for it to handle 700+hp (which by the the way John's service and expertise has been second to none! Was well worth the travel thanks to all at Bresciani Racing). At the moment the engine bay of the car is being smoothed and painted so when that is complete I will post more pictures. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
