Righto then. I know I've asked this before but I'm stuck between a NA to turbo or dropping in a complete turbo engine. I can get a RB20 redtop for cheap. I'm leaning towards droppin in the boosted engine.. That way it could handle abit more boost... I'm gonna try to keep it a sleeper as I don't want cop attention on my l's and p's.. What's everyone think?.

Drop in a RB20 and you'll regret it later. Be it from the crap performance, or the **** you'll cop from random people as soon as they find out theres a RB20 in the bay lol

whats so good about running more boost lol? the rb30 will make more power on less boost probably, and has the torque you want lowdown, especially when youve got your car full of mates

convert na to turbo dude, best of both worlds, have the grunt down low and more power with less boost. tho make sure the head is good, with a good gasket too. i was going to rebuild mine with vlt pistons, but would rather have the higher comp as i'm not going for huge boost!

The "red top" makes less power anyway dude! If it was a silver one u'd half consider it but don't mate spend on converting the RB30!

Rb24det Ftw!!! Probobly the best thing about these cars really, the amount of engines that will pretty much bolt in with minor modification. Eg.... All these http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_RB_engine#RB24S Plus RD28ET Buick Ecotec Several v8's

Dropping in a redtop RB would probably be not much different to leaving the RB30E in.

The redtop RB20DET is worse than the later model one. The redtop actually has less power than the silver top from factory. RB30ET or nothing Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
