i have been reading about spool/minispool diffs but i dont really know if they are different. what would be the advantage of getting a mini-spool because i see they are fairly cheap to buy one. if anyone can help it would be helpful thanks!

Have a search plenty of threads covering it. Essentially a minispool locks both axles together so that both wheels spin at the same speed 100% of the time. Illegal for use on the street and destroys tyres and twists and snaps axles if you have any kind of power and grip. Also dangerous in the wet for a noob. Great for burnouts and the drags though.

for the street, a lsd is much better, unless you wanna be getting axels and tires every 6 months (im saying axels because you posted in n/a so a 25 spline axel will have no chance lol

but in the wet its so much fun its f*kin unbelievable you wont have no crappy lsd singling out, theres advantages and disadvantages for both i got a minispooled diff recoe'd with 25 spline and its fine, just take corners wide, try and pick up speed when you turn corners.. you'll learn how to drive a minispool to minimize hoping but yes tyres are bad, 4 months on 19's and got about 60-70% tread btw.. and read my sig..its wonderful lol

drop some oil and give it curry..... Both wheels will spin even in a single spinner with oil.... But no stick with an LSD they are safer and best of all legal to drive with
