had my car on the dyno the other day with new injectors. It originally had this with standard injectors and haltech ecu And now with bosch injectors and 18psi my accuator was stuffed so it was spikin to 18psi then dropin to 14-15psi through the rev range and 13psi by redline. Would this be the reason for the low power output?? (was expecting alot more) I have a new 12psi accuator + e boost controller. Can anyone give me a ruff idear what it should put out?? Spec' Internally standard RB30ET + MX7 Box with standard clutch + Open wheeler turbo diff. 3inch exhaust Front mount kooler Costom To4 JD Custom Plenium and XF throttle body n 3Inch pipping to kooler Pod filter Bosch 984 pump + Walbro Intank pump Speed Flow Fuel presure reg Haltech E6K+laptop+ Bosch injectors Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

What is this 'custom' T04??? Boost falling away up top is usually due to a restriction, namely the exhaust hsng/wheel....

Well, if youre so sure its the actuator what are you worried about? Fit it and the Eboost and rerun it?

correct me if im wrong, a leaking actuator would raise boost, i had an actuator that leaked when it oped, would overboost 2psi up in the revs. Pressure pushes the gate open, if the pressure leaks then the gate will slowly close and boost will raise, for boost to drop off the gate would need to open, doesnt sound right i think NSNPWR is on the money, some restriction somewhere, still running a t3 rear wheel?

And we think its the spring in the accuator has gotten weak and not holding the gate shut. But u are right if the diapham was leaking it would overboost. Its fitted and ready for the retune on the 20th just wondering how much hp it will put out? So i got some sorta indication evenythings working well.

What brand turbo is it? and what makes you 'think' its a 0.82 exhaust hsng? did you have to modify the manifold to make it fit? Asuming youre running the factory exhaust mani?

ok spoke to mate that got the turbo done he said its a t3 rear housing/flange machined with a modifide t04e rear wheel. Front wheel he couldnt tell me much about other then it was from japan and took 5weeks to get, at the time aparently there was only one other like it in australia. Also on the dyno i held the gate shut with pliers and it boosted earler and boosted to 25psi before rob backed off, Rob was suprised he didnt hear any pinging on the knock box Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

But did it hold 25 psi right through the rev range???.....If its a modified VLT rear hsng, they are very small and very restrictive...
