Rang a few places around aucks today, I ended up being told to ring Robinson instruments in central aucks. Told them my issue, guy on the phone reackon it would cost between $350-$400 +gst to have a calibration box fitted and they would require the car for half a day. Is it me or does that sound ****en exspesive, Anyone else know anyone who might calibrate speedo's a tad cheaper ? cheers

nope thats about how much it is LOL. its $400 down here. They do a good job my friend had his VL done and it was really accurate. and its worth it if you dont want tickets....

I don't have that sort of money lol. Sure would feel good to know I can trust my speedo though. Definitly better things to spend money on though..

oh I thought he meant calibration box, not gearbox. Thanks for the number 12maneym, I will have to give them a ring.

No I did mean the calibration boxes. I would personally go for an aftermarket gauge. But it could be I'm the only one with a $400 dollar box that reads about 15% off at best (and it has been calibrated twice) and stops at around 160km/h(either that or damn 160 feels fast!!!). Thats just me talkin', I dunno.
