Got myself a new plain bearing turbo today, and there's no instructions in the box. Having never used a new turbo before, I am wondering what needs tro be done with regards to oiling the turbo. Do I just whack it on and start driving? Do I need to crank the engine a bit and get some oil through the centre before I start the engine? Do they need 'running in', or any other special driving treatment before I get up it?

possibly get someone to hold the compressor wheel while u crank it just to make sure it doesnt spin with no oil, or hold the gate open if its internal gate
