i need to buy some new leads but not sure what brands, size etc i should be looking at. i have stock turbo setup except for bit of boost and cooler. until today i have been using Eagle Eliminator 8mm. They have been good, but two are now damaged and need replacing. They are also quite expensive if i remember correctly. Do i need to spend the cash for my basic setup? thanks for advice in advance. (i've tralled thru threads looking for answers but after 30mins i couldn't find what i'm looking for....so apologies if this is a double up)

Mate, if you want to keep it stock you could also just get a new set of Genuine, NISSAN ones, $70 if i remember correctly. Or if you don't care then you could try Top Gun, 8.8mm. $32. Up to you champ

NAS, go to your nearest NISSAN DEALER mate. Just tell them you're after spark plug leads for a NISSAN, SKYLINE, R31. I told them i needed a set for an 1988 Nissan Skyline because my VL was built in 1988. Since your car is a turbo Tell them it's for a turbo engine just to be safe-but they may be the same?? $70 they cost me. They look awesome brand new, it's as if the engine was new again lol

Dont buy top gun - Low quality, last time I changed sparkplugs using the correct tool to twist and pull the lead head the metal conection was still stuck stuck on the fucken plug still Spend the extra = less fucking around, Daz Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

For those who are interested in buying new NISSAN leads (yes, the factory ones your VL came with), here's the part number. It's the Japanese number and without fail your local NISSAN spare parts person should be able to track them down for you Part no: 22450-67S25 Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I had mine custom made up: *Top Gun 8.8mm leads *Extended lead numbers 4,5 and 6 (so they can all wrap around the rocker cover on the driver's side) *Bosch boots fitted so that they are easier to remove, sit in better and don't leave the metal contact attached when you remove the lead. $220 worth but they look the goods, match the engine bay and should last me a while. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Get some made by QLD ignition leads, they are at kallangur on the northside. They make up a set in front of you as you wait, and you can choose colours, size, length, whatever you want. Or if you just want a standard set they have the specs there for those too. I'll certainly be going back there for my next set.

I think you can order different color ones from Eagle, nissan ones aren't designed for performance applications.

Yeah, I'm after a stock replacement stock as I have an NA. Keeping my NiSSaN set as a spare.
