Any ideas? (Preferably in Victoria)
Any ideas of good brands?
Looking to hit the track soon (not drag) and looking to get the best possible performance out of the old girl as I can...
P.S-Are "Semi-slicks" and "ET Street Radials" the same thing?

I dont think ET street radials will do you much good on a circuit. They were designed with drag racing in mind.
There are road/race tyres that some people call semi slicks. I cant think of any atm though.

The best value ones are Bridgestone, Kumho and Toyo.
Dunlop and Yokohama are prety expensive.
Bridgestone RE55S are approx $330? for a 17".
Falken RT615, Federal 595RS and Kumho KU15 and not semis but track orientated street tyres with treadwear ratings of 180-200.
Street legal track tyres will have a treadwear of 50-80.

21-11-07, 21:19 GMT+10#18 It's worth it. In the grand scheme of things, it's a drop in the ocean compared to what I've spent already-besides, I want to race and be competitive. I've learned in to the past to spend more in the first place and do things ONCE, rather than spend a little bit less, and do it twice.
I learned that one the hard way...
