My fuel pump stopped working, and then i replaced it with a brand new one, and now its f*ck*d up again. Couple of days before it died, the battery light keeps flashing whenever i accelerate. Does any one know the cause of this?

Something is sending to much current to the pump and cooking it. Check all connections and make sure alternator is connected correctly. Start the car, get a multimeter and check the terminals on the fuel pump to see how much power its getting.

Dirty fuel tank? A mate killed his bosch 040 about a day into owning it cause his tank had dirty fuel/rust sediment.

If you have a multimeter just test its still getting power, get someone to rev and see if the power spikes or decreases.
