I saw a yellow Triumph for sale on Trademe about a year ago, looked pretty interesting. Thought I'd never see it again, but I saw it on the road yesterday, it has a square cut out of the bonnet with a big black cover sticking up out of it. Has anyone else seen it? I'm wondering how it goes compared to a VL. I don't think I can find any photos.

Pretty sure that's the same type as up here, but this one is N/A (well, when it was for sale anyway) and the factory yellow. Sort of an odd choice of car isn't it?? Though it's still cool. A bit crazy that there's atleast 2 of them, lol.

There's a few references in there that I think are before my time, lol. My dad had a 2000TC that had a 2500 put in it, but with the 2000 drivetrain. Apparently that went well.. but he says that about EVERY car, lol. (Now he says his VL GTS is the best car he's ever had, so good that he drove it drunk and took it off the road! Clever..)

Your father is correct. A VL is the best car anyone could ever own hehehe Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Although it does mean the car is getting a full do over, but that means I have to help. (Funny and annoying part of all this is, he bought his because he liked mine, kind of the opposite of what it usually is.. and I converted him from being a Ford fan, he hadn't owned a Holden before) Anyway, back to the Triumphs! No one else has seen either of these? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
