as most of you may have heard i been looking for cars and i found one i vr ute pretty much fell in my lap. was a steal for 1 grand. which is why i bought it quite sad to say i wont be getting a vl anytime soon but il give u the run down its a 1993 3.8L VR ute with full body kit, bonnet scoop, 17" chromeys, extractors, full 2.5" exhaust system and more haha its all in primer atm, so it needs a paintjob desperately, got a few dings in the tray, interior needs attention, handbrake is dodge, electrics are all over the place, and the clutch needs attention. but apart from that everything else is fine. going to do a full oil change and flush the radiator nexxt week as it had been sitting in a garage for 3 years before i bought it lol next is the electrics which my dad is gonna do for me, then the clutch and so on anyone know any good painters to do a black metallic paint job? here she is Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

is it regoed? thats still a good buy for what you got. gratz lauren. ive never been a fan of bonet scoops, but im sure as you say it will look sexy in black. your just gonna have to make it go fast to make the scoop mean something right?

Technically, a learners permit is not an actual licence. But i'd check the rules out properly, if you can start dragging asap, i'd get the car done. haha Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

decided exactly wat ive got planned for this now... apart from all the clean up n spray n making it road worthy this is wats happening in the long run gonna extend the cab into the tray to fit subs behind the bucket seats which i will be gettin after chrissy... 30cm brake light above the rear window indicators on the side mirrors chrome mouldings around the windows get rid of the bonnet scoop and go with a monaro bonnet getting painted black with tiny orange flakes rebuild the whole 3.8l chuck a turbo kit on it... not sure which one yet twin 3" exhaust system recon the gearbox get the back end dropped on its ass get rid of the hooks and put a flat lid on the tray paint the rocker covers burnt orange dump it on 20" limited 800 shadow chromeys interior all black n burnt orange blue globes for the headlights wat ya reckon? ps. will be selling my 17" advanti rims no curb rash front tyres have bugger all tread back ones are alright chrome show ur interest and pm me

like the idea of rebuild and turbo but imo forget all the flashy paint and interior and stuff just keep the clean body lines as is and make it a real sleeper. maybe ultras on chasers or some nice rims that arent over the top vr gts? 2pk black respray and then just focus on the motor and a nice turbo set up wat u reckon??
