Tryed starting my car today at my sisters place after driving for about 20mins previous. The fuel pump started having a fit trying to prime, sounded like it was stuttering. The car wouldnt kick over and then one of the two "fuse" wires burnt out coming off a plug from the positive battery terminal and the pump wasnt making any noise when attempting to start. Has anyone had this same problem? Is there a common place to look for faults to fix this problem? I'd like to have a crack at fixing it myself before I call up an auto electrician.
