thought i would throw some pics up of my new toy
stage 1 is about to begin of a fully built motor
stage 2 is an ecu, 1000cc injectors and custom plenum
stage 3 is fully built auto
car needs a little bit of a tidy up and a couple little things fixed but thats to be expected for the price i paid lol
as the car sits its doing a touch over 300rwhp at 11-12lb
it runs a std auto, ecu, bottomend, head, cams, injectors, diff, intake
Mr Turbo 72GTQ 0.81AR T4 turbo
has a full 3.5" stainless exhaust
90mm intercooler
big aftermarket radiator
twin thermos
polished piping
18" wheels mis matched as the wheels that came on the back had bald tyres so i put the rims from my other supra on the back of it
back tyres are 285/30/18s
tein coilovers
big whiteline swaybars yet to go in
built motor should be done in bout a month or so
stage 2 will start once i sell my other supra
and stage 3 will happen next year sometime, most likely going a fully built th400

9s in a supra is alot harder than 9s in a vl
supras run IRS
it will definitly make the power needed for a 9 but being IRS and the torsen diff, it will struggle
would prob need to put a TRD lsd in it and solid bushes in the rear and a damn good auto!
i would be absolutely stoked with a 10second supra, even low 11s
im just glad that ive got a car now thats got some power and driving
just wasnt motivated to get the 2j vl going
