I have coil over front end... not sure on what the spring specs are, but have Koni yellows and Nolathane. Thats it for the front end, will be getting swaybar and strut tops soon though...
Rear is just Kings, pedders shocks, big swaybar and nolathane. Changing to coilovers for the rear soon and adjustable panhard rod with Koni Yellows...

wouldn't it be a huge job to coilover the rear..custom mounts and trailin arm etc..how much was ur front coilovers...did it improve ur handling..i noticed ur car sits pretty low in the front looks good...can u go lower?

i got a pair of coilovers for mine made by vhr32 off these forms
new bilstein inverted mono tube gas strut inserts (rrp $778)
new 450 or 500lb springs (for mountin roads, quite firm)
adjustable hight
thicker sway bars front and back
still have to get all new bushs, adustable caster rods and panhard rod,
then ill be looking into coil overs for the back

If there are Adjustable Coilovers you can go up/down, Same also for changing if they are Stiff/Soft

To do a proper coilover conversion in the rear it would be huge, but what ill be doing is using a coil over tube fabricated to the lower control arm. So that will leave the shock and spring in the original position, but have the ability to control the height, and also use the higher rating spring.
My coilovers were just under a grand all up. I cant remember exactly what the coilover conversion cost, but thye koni yellows weren't cheap either.
I had to lift the front end an inch to fit the 19's. I have probably close to 4inch's to wind down from where you saw it. Probably have near 8inchs of travel from top to bottom.
It made a massive improvement. Felt so much better straight away, made the rear feel like slop, so thats when I got the rear sway bar. And now I want to stiffen the front a little more to keep the front a fair bit more stiff then the rear, so thats why i'll get the fron swaybar soon.
But coilover front with decent shocks and a big swaybar matched with lowered rear with decent shocks and a decent swaybar will make a huge improvement over standard and you'll never look back.

No not yet, I will start looking into it soon though. I have sometimes seen them on ebay.
But I have a bloke up here that did my fronts, I will see what we can do with the rears.
You could do a properly coilover setup in the rear, would need to customise and re-inforce the shock towers and then weld a few brackets to the diff/control arm. But probably wouldnt be worth it... Going complete custom rearend would be better..

18-11-07, 21:32 GMT+10#16 It does say Lovells, so if it is true, it definately can't be a bad thing.

20-11-07, 17:40 GMT+10#18 The add though does specify Lovells. The springs might be made by Lovells, while the rest could be by Noltec.
It's pretty cheap on Ebay, can buy now for $425.

20-11-07, 20:55 GMT+10#19 I'd rather have them welded into the control arm...
How do they bolt into the control arm anyway?
