u wont need to panel beat the tunnel-i mean i did not for my one- depends -if u run a jw bellhousing (usa aftermarket bellhousing) u will 100% need to panel beat the tunnel- as it is thicker in all area's

lol i would suggest youve got at least one transmission leak there somewhere man. from memory of a mate doing this conversion he did panel beat part of the tunnel where the bellhousing is because of the size of the bellhousing he used.....not sure if it was a jw bellhousing.......but it did take along time to get hold of one.and yes the bracket your chasing for your b and m shifter comes from rare spares. ill see if i can get hold of him and see if he took pictures of his conversion, not sure tho cause it was ages ago

I must have the other bell housing that is thicker every were cause i had to use my persuasion sledge to ''massage'' the trans tunnle but i now have about 20mm clearance all round the box now so no cracking the case on hard launches because it smashes the body. Ive gotta get some spray putty befor i put the box back in just to hide some of the dents. Youll find the main area that needs thrashing is around the shifter rod as that hits the body when its stock.
