just wanna know if the 185 computer will give me a slight power increase in a standard V8. got the other mods, exhaust, cold air. will it all run fine without any tuning? would my computer run the hsv? thanks for any help

If you have the breathing mods the 185 memcal is the finishing touch but you might want a knock sensor harness to guard against poor fuel in country area,s if you wanna be fussy.

It is the knock sensor that will allow most of the kw's to be unleashed. Without it then it's just a waste of time. Corsa

you really wont feel much of a difference with the 185 memcal, get a cam and some roller rockers instead.

The knock sensor is used to detect detonation (pinging) and allows the ECU to advance the timing much closer to the point of knocking than the safety margins allowed in the standard program. Corsa
