This site (CT) seems to be a hit with people who are supposedly at school or work :-P (Damn legal studies, lol). http://www.zcars.com.au/holden-ve-co...agon-pictures/ (http://www.zcars.com.au/holden-ve-commodore-sportwagon-pictures/) That's got info and pics etc. Looks ok...not that great....bit like a stretched Vectra wagon or something along those lines, from the side and rear.

The Commodore wagon’s popularity has certainly been growing over the past 5-10 years and with the release of the limited edition VY SS Wagon some 3 years ago, the public’s reaction was overwhelming. Now Holden have acknowledged the demand for a sport orientated Commodore wagon and have released a new VE Commodore Sportwagon, one that GM Holden Chairman Chris Gubbey is proud to be unveiling to the public this weekend. “The new VE Commodore Sportwagon puts the excitement back into practicality. This is a car for families with a ‘get-up-and-go’ attitude”, Mr. Gubbey said. “The generous interior space, combines with sleeker, sportier styling, makes this a wagon that people will want to own as a year-round family car, or for family and business use. “Holden’s new VE Sportwagon turns practi-cal into practi-cool.” The Sydney Motorshow display Sportwagon will feature a roof mounted DVD player, 20-inch alloy wheels and a chrome window trim and unique interior colour combination. It will also house an E85 compatible V8 engine featuring Active Fuel Management technology which shuts down cylinders under light engine loads to improve fuel economy. “Showcasing an E85 fuel system in this vehicle makes a powerful statement about Holden and GM’s commitment to developing alternative energy sources that reduce our dependence on petroleum-based products,” said Gubbey. “It also demonstrates that drivers of alternative duel vehicles don’t have to sacrifice performance.” Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

sorry mate, yes your right, its your opinion. Im just sick of people that write off the VE becuase its a commodore and refuse to look at the facts. Probably should of made a note of the fact you own a commodore Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

The Calais Sport Wagon is the pick of the Holden fleet for me, above all others including HSVs. I would love to buy one and take it in for the "Walkinshaw" treatment hehe Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Probably should of made a note of the fact you own a commodore Haha, I know what you mean. I should have been more specific - my opinion is based solely on how they look, until I drive one. However, the GTS does catch my eye in the dark colours. The features its rolling on are quite good, and they did do a good job of tuning the 6L. Although that tv ad for the ESC where the woman avoids the boxes falling out of the truck and gets her VZ sideways is waaay over the top My opinion of them is partly skewed because the last person to tell me how good they were was a man-chick in a Holden jacket that thought the VR was the last good thing Holden did. umm....Ecotec? Has she heard? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Really it's quite pointless making comparisons with all the other Wagons on the market, all cars look the same these days they've lost there character/individuality. The only thing you paying for is a badge/engine/drivline/interior and even then the similarities of the interiors don't differ much (execpt the crude american imports as opposed to the european)
