Hey, name is kim, im new to the site. Thought i should post and tell you about my car. Its a 1986 VL commodore berlina. It is extremely clean, one of the most original ive seen. At least it was until i changed the rims on it. Let me know what you think? Other than that the only things ive done is change the steering wheel on it to a black leather one rather than the stock one as it was turning grey and just looked chat. Also black seat covers all round to protect the tan interior. Body is straight as. RB30 under the hood. Has original hood lining intact. And the boot has all original insulation and carpet. Anyway thinking about lowering her but need an opinion? Also need a hand getting out the stock tape player, want to do it without having to take apart the dash. Someone give me an idea of how to do it? Please! Anyway check out the pics and let me know what you think. What should i do next? Have a good one!! Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

removing your dash step by step guide - http://www.calaisturbo.com.au/showthread.php?t=19257 amazingly clean car. i love that colour (when it isn't faded) and you have a hell of a start point in terms of he berlina, all of the comfort you want without the hassles of shoddy wiring. hope that helps, also can you tell us a litle history? who did you get the car off of? ( it would have to be from an older couple i to be in that condition, that or a restoration.) happy driving - Mitcham. (if you get the car lowered don't cut springs do it properly with springs matching shocks an adjustable panhard rod (so the rear wheels do not scrub) and thicker swaybars which will give it a much better handling.)
