I could even Put the button on a bracket behind the bonnet pull so when you pull the switch it contacts the button and the bonnet opens.

I relocated my bonnet latch under neath the front gaurd connect to the brace that supports the front bumper....trust me I would rather get a canary for a bonnet not popping up then a epa notice stating that you have to take everything back to stock!!!

i wouldnt think the boot release solonoid would be strong enough to open the bonnet, and u wouldnt want to have less tension on the spring as the bonnet may open when hitting bumps..

technically speaking u cant be canaried for ur bonnet not opening. it has to be able to close and stay closed, but theres nothing saying it has to be openable... and its all written from a safety perspective Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Yes but the cop would give you an EPA on the spot just to make sure you don't get away with anything.. i'd rather run the risk and lift the bonnet for him, at least i'm not trying to be a decietful little **** in his eyes then..

It must be able to open to allow for access to the battery in the event of an crash/fire/emergency. (*here in SA anyway. I cant see any reason why victoria would be any different, then again, you are victorian... ) Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
