Micheal & Vince took KD to WSID for a run this weekend
4 passes running 9.2's all around 153mph
Different conditions to what we are used to had us scatching our heads at first but got it sorted to run 8.97 @ 156.5 leaving very soft (1.50 60 foot) pitty we didn't get another run after that with a harder launch
The car has also been sold to a person in Sydney and wont be coming home with us

Saw the car run yesterday. Very impressive. We are kinda deprived of quick cars like that in Tassie.

04-09-07, 01:02 GMT+10#14 Its not my place to say what the guys got for the car
Not sure what they are up to next, but if they do another VL it wont be a full weight factory style car it will be something very serious !!

Cause they wanted to run multiple 8's in a full weight car with a standard rear end and they have done that, that was there goal from day 1
Now its time to get serious i guess

04-09-07, 08:55 GMT+10#17 my guess is 35k is well off the mark.. i believe engine bay alone has to be worth over 30k as im sure he spent double that inside there.
by watching it at the track the other day, this car had at least 2 tenths in it if not more

04-09-07, 11:28 GMT+10#18 i agree the bay would be worth around that and if the car got more then 35 large its great news for 8 sec "streetish cars"
