darkhalf can write you a gts2 cam chip.

it will really give it the extra 30 kw or so? (fw, would only be about 20 rw but enough to eat my mates vn, thus destroying his r34 to 60 kays) oh, and also to install a wade gts2 spec cam, what else do i need? just get the cam remove my lifter cradles and lifters and put the new cam in and all done? or do i need to remove the head? im just hoping that its just a straight swap over

Heyyyyyy trippa upon further investigation, the gts2 cars were also treated with a mild porting job, so im guessing maybe 135 kw maybe the gts 1 cam may be more suited to non ported cars? specs are:GTS1 RB30E - injected single-cam (130 kW @ 5500 rpm, 255 Nm (26.0 kgfm) @ 3500 rpm)GTS2 RB30E - injected single-cam (140 kW @ 5600 rpm, 270 Nm (27.5 kgfm) @ 4400 rpm) Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

strange that the gts2 has 140fwkw & 270 nm when im putting out 93.6rwkw and 283nm. Only mods are 2 1/4 press bent zorst(std cat and glass packed muffler) CAI and timing adv.

so from the factory 114kw you are probably looking at an extra 10 to 20 kw at the fly realistically- not a bad gain at all i must say.

GTS 2 only has very mid porting of exhaust side... that is all. GTS2 cam should go fine in your VL How much is the cam btw ??

yes the GTS2 only received a "match" port on the exhaust side. to match the extractors.

well the the gts2 cam..when does it kick in? because mine kicks in at around 4,500rpm just wondering if the bigger the cam the later the kick?

Mad Wog: I think you will find you might need to remove the radiator, i did mine out of the car so not 100% sure. When i got my cam from Wade they recomended the lifters were refaced, this should really be a minimum with any new cam !! They also said i would need managament to run the cam properly, my mate and I played with the timing and got it to run pretty good but it had a small hesitation in the top end. I recomend you at least get a chip to suit.

yeah, apparently darkhalf can do a chip, i have pm'd him to see if he is able to do it, and then ill see,

apparently the gts2 cam is good between 3000rmp and 6000rpm. the gts1 cam is a better cam for drivability.
