ok, it has a high mount manifold, with a jjr480 turbo, a jjr plenum, and intercooler, there is a dump pipe, stock injectors, umm... the oxegen sensor has been refitted. umm. i have changed the plugs. p.s when tightening the plugs in does it get very firm when its tight ? the smoke looked like a hazy white, could be a light blue colour if i think about it, i dont recall a strong smell

What ECU? A stock one will not be ideal. Far from it in fact I don't know much about these JJR turbos (KKR with different branding?) but doesn't this kind of smoke normally mean turbo seal or something?

well im not sure, but the ecu is not anything to do with the smoke.

yeah but it could be the cause of your car running badly enough to do some damage. Too lean maybe?

its only been running for a few days its still not registered on the road. most ive done is drive it around the car park which is very small standard injectors running at 40PSI fuel pressure it ended up being the valve stems, the compression was up somewhere near 170 psi on all pistons, THANK GOD FOR THAT, i rang up a couple of places to get the steams fixed they quoted me roughly 1500, then i rang up Speedtech Racing and they have a tool where they dont need to take off the head, he said he fills the piston up with compressed air and he uses a tool to extract the steam. obviously the valves wont get reseated... but at this point im willing to ignore that. so im hoping when he rings me back it will be quite cheap
