Hi, Just after torque settings for flywheel bolts and pressure plate bolts, if anyone knows them. I dont want to buy a whole gregorys manual for 2 things. Cheers.

closest thing in the manual to that is: Pressure plate to flywheel bolts, 29nm - it dosn't say what you should torque the flywheel or clutch bolts to. Maybe you don't need to.

142nm-152nm for flywheel bolts... Assuming pressure plate will be about the same

cheers guys. 29nm for the pressure plate seems a little weak compared to 150ish for flywheel??

There is very little difference in movement between 30nm and 152nm on them bolts. I did mine up to about 30nm by holding the flywheel with my hand, then we put the rattle gun onto them and they moved a little and then we used the torque wrench to check they were right and they didnt move then...

Just get someone to hold the crank at the front (1 1/8 socket I think it was) while you do the bolts up as tight as you can... Get a torque wrench if you havent already got one...

What box is it??? If its manual, then if the clutch isn't alligned properly it wont go in... The shaft needs to sit in the spigot and then the splines need to slide through the clutch plate. If its a tiny bit out of line it wont let it go through... Keep trying...

flywheel is 150nm or rattle gun tight and loctite them to be safe, clutch bolts are no more than 30nm it doesnt seem right but it is..

i did it with out taking out the motor. Turns out the clutch plate was not dead centre.

what happens when you need to remove the flywheel if its loctite on???

im pretty sure the rattle gun will take them off.
