Some of you would have known after seeing me on sunday at Shanes,
But to those of who dont know,
My car which I have owned for the past 5 Years (driven for 3 years) was sold to Shane as a roller, no motor or box with standard interior (less the carpet), no wheels either.
To cut a long story short, it was taken off the road to get painted (which i regret) whilst the Big HP RB30 donk was getting built, but since then I had bought Shanes other calais aka "chop chop" for the big HP motor will be going into (till the 26 is ready )
Also, being a business owner now, I havent got much time to waste on what will be a big job!
Shane has big plans for it, and Im sure it will be worth a look once its done. Im hoping he keeps it the same colour as it WAS clean.
I know I will definitely cry once Shane has finished with it, but at least I know it will get looked after and look as good or if not alot better than what it did before the painter got to it..
But be sure to keep out for the new car once its done, within the near future, which Shane will help come along.
Regards
Arie

Plans for which car?
One that was sold will see a nice warmed over V8 in it... Chev of course, but I'll let Shane let the cat out of the bag if he wants to, not unless he already has?
"Chop Chop" will have the big HP RB30 in it, just for the sake of putting an engine in it till the 26 plans get underway after motorvation. I just want a motor in it (even if its the "dirty thirty") so I have a car to show what Ive been doing for the past 2 years as far as the motor goes.
But in the end that motor will be sold off to fund the 26.
As far as paint goes, I'd rather not say, we'll leave that be, but it will be immaculate once Shane is done with the final product for show.
Regards
Arie

argh sucks getting rid of a car u liked, and really wanted to do something to
i miss my blue vlt, buts thats only coz it was blue and had scratches all over it (nah, its coz it was my first vlt lol)
but i sumtimes found myself in the same position engine-wise... "should I put a 'dirty 30' in it or just wait till i can pay for the big hp motor"
in the end i didnt bother mucking around with the idea of putting a RB30et in, i'd rather just put the 26/30 in and so be it (so to speak )
why dont u just wait till u can rebuild the 26? altho i must admit it sucks having sumthing sit around and not being able to drive it
best of luck with "chop chop" or whatever it is haha

Good to see its going to be revived in a new form - hooking shane up is probably the best option other than redoing it yourself!!
Let me know if your keen to sell chop chops current engine in the near future!! The daily would love it

Genki - Nah I want a car to drive and enjoy for a bit before I sell it off. Prob only drive it once a fortnight if that... Been waiting for too long now lol
Stevie - Yeh for sure, the motor out of chop chop will come out in the very near future once I get over the big "speed hump" of owning my own business and getting to know the ins and outs. Offers have already been made on it, but Im pretty firm with the price. But yeh, 26 plans looks the goods
Oliver - Sorry mate, wont be needing that chrome strip anymore as it was for "DCEPTV" not unless shane wants a spare, not that he needs it as he kept the set off chop chop
