I was reading todays paper and it read we are the worst state in the nation for hoons. Couldn't believe my eyes Some of you might snicker about that but think about this. New anti street-racing laws are in place in California, along with measures such as seizing cars, night curfews for minors, higher fines and arresting drivers. Southern California are the harshest telling Australian authorities they should crush the hotted-up vehicles to send a strong message to offenders This is what makes them stop, when you destroy their cars, These young kids are scraping their money together to put into their main asset, and some of them break down when they see their car being crushed. a copper in the US said. Fark they even charge $120 fine if someone is caught just watching street races! Ontario police say Australian authorities should increase penalties if they wanted to stop street racing. To me, taking someones car is stealing, crushing someones car is willful damage, so police have the power to be above the law?!? What next? If you j walk across the road against the lights they take your shoes off you and burn them? Also what about drunk drivers, they get caught a dozen times but they don't lose their car or get it crushed? I guess drunk driving is ok HOONING IS NOT Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

yeah it was in the paper last week, in California they crush your car then dump your cube on your front lawn... I guess we should all take our cars to a dedicated local motorsport site Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Youre spot on DJXTASY, let the punishment fit the crime!..... This government is a dictatorship, Rann must go, all he does is try to please the aged or elderly voters....has done nothing to try to help the situation like oh, I dunno, build us a farkin race track! Considering we are a Motorsport city with the Clipsal bringing big tourist $$$ and exposure to Adelaide and us having held the F1 GP for some time.....they arent trying to fix the problem, theyre masking it.

If there was a track that would stop alot of hoon driving. Even closing down an airstrip and for one day a month we can go skitz on! Yes, someone will need to be paid to supervise these activities, but the main aim for the government and police was to ensure our safety, if they need to do this to stop deaths a racing on our roads then i say it should be done, let our tax money go somewhere usefull rather than RCK guys collecting their payments so they can put pods and neons on the VN's & VP's. These hoon driving laws are begining to get a lil out of control! The time defently doesnt suit the crime!

dont no if any of you guys live down south.. but take the speed humps along the porties/christies esplanade.. the most ****in pointless things ever.. they just ruin the entire drive for people.. but yet.. every and i mean EVERY! surrounding street for like 5k's is covered with pot holes.. but they wont fix them.. just ruin the esplanade.. idiots.. and crushing peoples cars wont help.. thats the sort of thing that fills people with fire and rage.. honestly.. if the government were to take your car from you.. and crush it.. then dump it on your front lawn.. would you go and cry like a gurl and give up on having a nice car for ever? or would u vow to seek a horrible revenge on whoever did it

HEEEEEEEEEEY! i recon i saw ur car the other day.. could be rong tho.. and yeh the esplanade is ****ed.. i love driving thru there coz ive lived down there all my life.. and especially coming into summer.. its what you do.. run the esplanade.. meet up with people and ****.. and they have completely ruined it.. but all the other roads are bumpy as **** anyway so its just as bad.. all its done is mean that "hoons" now have to stop to get there car over them.. leaving a perfect opportunity to spin the wheels as they leave.. there were barely any tyre marks down there before.. now its covered ahhahaha

No, I didnt abuse him at all, you will not get anywhere by doing that, so dont. I addressed a few issues and asked him to consider.

What deaths from racing? I can think of a couple of incidents over the last few years but you cant compare the statistics with drink driving Darren- The Advertiser has just as much to answer for as Mike Rann. Its ridiculous how much power they have over the issues of our state, and all the advertiser cares about is selling copies Maybe send a copy of your email onto them aswell? could get lucky and some junior reporter might grab it? Maybe include the C4C that raised how many thousands of dollars? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Im just saying all these laws are to stop deaths to do with hooning, i dont agree with that! i think there are alot more causes more oftern to accidents rather then hooning!
