Hey Guys, Having issues with changing to a VN drop tank. Everything has fallen into place fairly well however. With the VL Tank these 2 connections run from the external pump to somewhere I can't see as such: However with the VN the wires run from same place on the pump and and onto the sender unit on the tank as per: Can anyonew tell me whats what, and how it should be wired up? Or if its even possible with the current Sender in the tank (VN unit). Thanks -Aj Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

The wires in the VL tank for the pump and sender go up through the floor pan and join into the interior loom that runs down the driver's side (under the scuff plates). Does a VL pump and sender not work with the VN tank? Oh, I just noticed the five bolt pattern on the VN tank... =( I'm thinking you should be able to just cut & solder the correct wires.

hey mate a VL LR tank sender will have the same bolt pattern so that should solve your problem, failing that just cut the lines and soilder as 5spvl suggested

Thanks Guys. Is anyone able to give me an idea of what wires will have to go to where? All I have is a Max Ellery's manual which is unsurprisingly foggy on the topic. Also how are these wires able to originate in 2 different places and run to an external pump being the same component on both cars? And while at the basics: What exactly is it these 2 wires are for?
