just wondering if a r33 gtr bellhousing will fit on a r33 gtst gearbox as i have both these boxes and heaps of pull type clutches to suit. or if the transfer case is removed off a 6 speed gtr gearbox and a billet rear end is made without the 4wd transfer cause would it be any good for a vl.

The R33 boxes are identical, the only difference is the transfer case on the GTR box. There would be no point in changing bellhousing as they are both the same bolt pattern. I don't know of anyone using the R34 Getrag but I'm sure its possible to remove the transfer case. Don't see why you'd want a billet rear end though, for the price of making one you could save your money and put it towards a fair proportion of a TKO.

the reason i want a r33 gtr box bellhousing on my r33 gtst box is because it has the pull type clutch and i have heapsof pull type clutches. also i can get a billet rear end made for free.
