07-09-07, 15:34 GMT+10#18 You can cut the hole for the walky scoop. There is actually 3 holes in the bonnet for a walky, the radiator, twin throtts and air box, but you won't need to cut the last 2, just the radiator.
You CAN get a permit for the hole. I have one for my calais, and the walky scoop. It's not easy, but I got one when I took my car over after a yellow. (Not for the scoop or hole, I put them on after the yellow).
Yes it weakens the bonnet by cutting the hole, but the scoop itself (if original) has reinforcement in it, that it adds strength to the bonnet.
If it was really that bad, do you think they would have done it to a group A race car????????????
With the scoop off, and just the radiator cutout, then the bonnet will flex, so make sure the the scoop is on when your opening and closing the bonnet, especially if you have bonnet struts, as they pressure on each side.

13-09-07, 15:58 GMT+10#20 Looks SO good in that colour and the bonnet looks great. Please don't ruin it with those ugly 20s it would look so much better on some classier wheels with just the polished front mount etc.
PS there is no such thing as a VL Group A rear bar, do you mean VK Group 3?
