Hi guys I just took my diff out as I was just going to get a LSD put into my 28 spline non lsd diff. I thought I may as well pull the axles out to put new wheel bearings on while im here. I have now decided to upgrade my axles to 31 spline mosers. What i need to know is what else do i need to change to put these 31 spline axles in. What do these axles go into? The lsd mechanism or? I would usually use my manual to work this out but it has been misplaced... Also can someone explain what a full spool is compared to a LSD and wich one would be best for me. I will be running 9 second passes...

Get a full spool mate. It permanently locks your axles together like a minispool but it replaces the entire diff centre and is much stronger. It won't be much chop on the street, and is illegal, but for a 9 second car you'll want something strong and predictable. As for the LSD route, Im pretty sure you can't get 31 spline side gears for a BW LSD.

Cheers for the reply VL hero, the car will see 50/50 street/drag time so is a full spool that practical or would the diff shudder get really annoying on the street? Also does anyone know much about the Kazz LSD's? Would this be an option with my 31 spline axles?

Yes it would shudder, some can put up with it but many can't. Are Kaaz's available in 31 spline?
