Help; Tailshaft vibration under hard acceleration

Whenever I accelerate hard, I get a shudder/vibration that seems to be coming from the tailshaft. My two previous VL's did the same thing. I have replaced all the bushes and that did FA. Any ideas where I can get this sorted in Adelaide? Could a new centre bearing or a 1 piece tailshaft sort it?

chances are your centre bearing is shagged mate. replace that first cheaper than another tailshaft.

is the car lowered at all? my old lowered NA calais did something similar, and that sort of problem is notorious in VLs as soon as you lower them cause it upsets the geometery of the 2 piece tail shaft they run

suspension is standard FE2 for the same reason as above. Will get a quote on a tuff centre bearing and hope for the best. Apparently ATS is the place to go (Adelaide Tailshaft Services). Fingers crossed.
