Hey guys i know this topic has been put up here so many times so before you say anything i am looking at these specific subs and with your experiance are they any good or worth getting ?? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/LATEST-American-BOSS-TWIN-MAGNET-12-SUBWOOFER-1000W_W0QQitemZ330156094634QQihZ014QQcategoryZ1880 3QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/LATEST-American-BOSS-TWIN-MAGNET-12-SUBWOOFER-1000W_W0QQitemZ330156094634QQihZ014QQcategoryZ18803QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) http://cgi.ebay.com.au/New-KINGWOOD-1600W-12-Twin-Magnet-Subwoofer-SW1_W0QQitemZ260150055454QQihZ016QQcategoryZ18803Q QssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/New-KINGWOOD-1600W-12-Twin-Magnet-Subwoofer-SW1_W0QQitemZ260150055454QQihZ016QQcategoryZ18803QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) Just interested if any of these are any good. i'm not sure if they're good or not. most people would say no cause its a cheapo brand but sometimes cheap brands are ok. have u tried looking in strathfield or jb. the sometimes have a sale which has good name subs for cheap

There def not as impressive as name brand audio gear lol. Theyd probably do the job, just how long for is the question Personally id rather go name brand and pay that little bit more. Pioneer subs go alright for the price, ive got 2 clarions and they go well and are only about 80 bucks each but hey if u want go for it, 40 bucks isnt all that much really and if they go alright then uve got a bargin Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Moggy06 summed it up, There not the best subs at all.. Just look at the brand name they've gave them.. Kingwood as apposed to 'Kenwood' - And for the American Boss those seem very overrated. You get what you pay for, and with electrical goods especially subwoofers with alot of moving/wobbyling parts i don't think they would last long at all Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

is twin magnet or watever just another way of saying dual voice coil or is that somethin different? if there the same then theres no way in hell those can be all that great haha, dual voice coil subs dont come that cheap

Nah, its another way of tricking people into thinking 'ohhh Alpine and Pioneer only give you 1 magnet but this has 2!' Voice Coils aren't a magnet, I think they run thru the magnet tho?

yeh they just look like dual voice coil subs cause they have 4 plugs in them instead of two? meh i dunno aye. If anyones keen for a magnet, theres a cheap way to get 2 fairly big ones Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

also try and have a look on ebay for good brand ones. i bought a rockfoard fosgate dual magnet in a box with amp for 100 bucks. search ebay for a while and u will get a bargain

The voice coil isnt part of the magnet. It just works with the magnet to drive the speaker.. Dual voice coils dont make any speaker better, they just give more flexibility when wireing a system.. Those subs are crap. They are set up just the same as any entry level sub (pioneer, sony etc) But with cheaper parts I'm guessing.. Effectively they will do what you want them to do, create sound. It just wont be quality sound and you probably wont get low bass from them.

yeh thats probably putting it the best way possible. Guessing they would bottom out pretty easy and not produce 'madd bass' so if ur after a cheap sub that will put out O.K bass then i guess one of these might do the job but dont go expecting to much from it. Do it properly, might cost twice as much but at least u know ur getting quality from trusted brands. The ebay ones probably arnt as good with warranty as a nice clarion or pioneer sub either i bet Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

in my first car when i was poor, i bought two 10 inch subs from super cheap for 30 bucks each, and let me tell u magnets on the back of them things were bigger than the subs... the surrounds were hard rubber as a pose to foam, and they lasted 3 years in another mates car (i gave em to him after i sold my car) theyre still going hard today... sometimes cheap stuff isnt always bad stuff, its a gamble really.
