That was a really good doco, thanks for the heads up. It was his business partner, Mike, that was convicted of double murder. Even though there was no hard evidence, the jury agreed that he was guilty as various witnesses said that he told them he will "take mickey out". He said that to one of the witnesses and a couple of days later Mickey and his wife were shot. Everyone said, including Mike's own lawyer, that he did have a big mouth and told people everything. And as for Mickey's sister, good on her for fighting all these years and continue to do so to find the hitmen. So not only are Mickey Thompsons great tyres, but there is a phenomenal story behind the name. And by the way, M/T have a great new range (well quite a few months now) of full slick radial tyres (Drag Radials). They will give better, more consistant times as there will be less rolling resistance and no tyre growth. And of course there are more ET street radial sizes and more Sportsman S/R radial sizes as well. Sorry, just had to give a plug Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Unfortunately the drag radials only come in large sizes and if you see on the site there are alot more of a range in et street radials now. And here is one for guys to know, the ET street radials are actually recommended for cars with autos, not manuals. Hence why i for one and others hear quite a few stories of guys with manuals not performing exceptionally well on radials, since they don't have a great amount of sidewall flex. This was also clarified by Mickey Thompson reps that came from the U.S to see us a couple of months ago and discuss new products that they may be bringing out and we also gave input into what sort of tyres would be beneficial to add to their range.
