diff's single to lsd ?

hi need to know whats needed to change a vl v8 diff thats a single spinner to a 4 pinon lsd. is it just the center that needs to be changed over or is the houseing different and what about the axles ?

V8 diff is 28 spline. So you will need to source a 28spline LSD centre. You can bolt your crown wheel onto that and it is just a complete centre swap...

ok so all i need is a diffcenter to suit a vlt (4 Pinion LSD 28 Spline diff center suit VL turbo) ? thats it it will be a st8 change over. one in good nick what's a good price to pay for a 4 Pinion LSD 28 Spline diff center ?

Yep thats it... Any LSD centre from a vlt, vl v8, vn vp, vr vs live axle diff... So you shouldnt have too many troubles sourcing one... I'd find any lsd you can get onto and have it rebuilt and shimmed up to be nice n tight so it wont drop into a single legger any time soon...

Bout that... Ebay has a couple otherwise just keep an eye and ear out on all for sale sections in forums... or throw up a wanted thread.

your forgetting fords and old valiants You know those XF's that go for $50.... they are a great source for an LSD to suit your diff Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
