So i broke my pinion gear and ring gear from having too much hektik powah, now i need to get those two parts before i can put my diff back together. Got a diff off Matty but its worn beyond recognition as well. I understand you can buy new pinion and ring gears but they're about $1500 which is not too crash hot. I'm up in the sunshine coast at the moment but travel down to brissy regularly, anyone got these parts? If you only have a whole diff (broken axle, rooted bearings, i don't care, just need the two gears!) then i can take the whole thing. anyone out there got this stuff? Cheers, Stocky

Stocky... I have a complete diff centre (4 pinion - open centre)... Came out of my Calais Turbo when i put the LSD centre in. Only catch is - comes with 3.08's. Let me know if this is any good to you.

have you got the pinion gear mark? my pinion is blown, as is my ring gear wonder how 3.08's would go with the twincharge - probably pretty good i'd think? would be an interesting combination for sure. dunno what to do about the speedo though. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Dude u can go to the wreckers and get a drum brake complete diff for 100bucks and just chuck the ring gear onto your centre and whack it in?? And obviously swap the brakes and **** over. pinions match housings, u can't just whack in a totally different pinion into your housing afaik

im looking for 3.7/8/9s, not going 4.11s. "pinions match housings, u can't just whack in a totally different pinion into your housing afaik" you get them installed by some one that knows what there doing and sets the shims and spacing right, it dosnt matter...

bloody hell, what a mess - maybe the diff guy is just trying to be a c%nt or something matt i'll give you a call next time i'm heading past your house, i got quoted $175 for a complete diff from kawana wreckers today but if you're gunna go to 3.9's or something then i might steal the spare 3.45's you have now (again lol) mark if matty's gears are stuffed then i might hit you up man, thanks for the offer.

I bought a diff housing from a R31 skyline auto with no axles etc just the centre and pinion for $60-70 and used the 28spline centre and 3.9's and threw a spool in it... Was cheap extra power and strength over the 25spline 3.45 single legger...
