u shouldnt have to mod the filler neck i dont think na. use the vl top half, and there is a joiner about 2" out of the tank. might need to get a new piece of silicone or watever it is. but yeh shouldn be a drama... just make sure u get all the evap lines all sweet.. or u'll have fuel spilling out the nipples on top of the tank n ****.

Looks a bit different from the vl, and its been a while since i changed the tank, but when you take your old tank out then you will see were everything goes. The 3 tubes at the top of the tank are not for another pump, its for fuel return lines off the filler neck.(and maybe engine fuel return) yes thats obviously were your pump goes, the pipes from that go to either an external fuel pump (i think on vn/vp's they were only on the long range tanks, or only 5L's or somthin) otherwise they go straight to your fuel line, to run to the engine. They are a fiddly thing to change, you have to make sure that you have the correct length hoses everywere, correct pumps etc. hope it helps

try and tip as much out as you can, then slosh around a couple of litres of petty in there and tip it out real quick.

ok dude a couple of things, those lines ontop of the tank are for the breather lines, also you'll need a VL sender unit instead of the VN/VP one youve got, as the VL only has one line out of the tank sender (not two). i like the drop tank too, heres some pics of the one im putting in my VL after i sprayed it up (got some dints though ) PICT2116.JPG (http://www.calaisturbo.com.au/attachment.php?attachmentid=18205&d=1187084959) PICT2112.JPG (http://www.calaisturbo.com.au/attachment.php?attachmentid=18206&d=1187084959) PICT2111.JPG (http://www.calaisturbo.com.au/attachment.php?attachmentid=18207&d=1187084959) pitty ive got a Walky kit and you wont be able to the tank though !
