No such thing as super super lows, did you mean Ultralows? Anything but Monroe's gets my vote. Actually make that anything valved correctly for a superlow application (BOGE, Pedders GSR, Koni, Bilsten etc).

It obviously has IRS... So either way i'd be making sure its a shortened shock, otherwise its gonna be a terrible ride. If you have the cash, always go a Koni. They are great shocks. Im not sure if they make a shortened IRS shock. I dont even think they make a shorter shock for the VL....

Stay away from Monroe. Koni are best if you have money Go get some quotes from a suspension shop

Monroes are just standard, and pretty much garbage if you want to change your suspension (lower, etc). Pedders make decent shocks if you don't want to spend the earth (Pedders Comfort Short Travel), or I'd recommend KYB. Don't get Monroe. Ever.

Not Munroe whatever you do... Put a new pair of rears in the wagon 6 months ago, replaced them with KYBs last week and they were knackered... 10,000km was all they lasted... KYB are excellent value and a superb shock...
