I bought the car as an 88vlbt1 turbo there were no big plans for it maby a cooler but that was it....... 3 months after buying it it spun a bearing and it came off the road for the following changes. The motor was replaced, wiring was hidden, battery went in the boot and the bay was givin a exstensive detail and the car also became manual. After that i got abit bored and chucked a cooler and plenum on it. Then i made the biggest mistake EVER..... I bought a T70 This was what the car looked like upto this point... Then the enebitable happend i blew the headgasket... I changed the head gasket went for a run and it was blowing smoke everytime i gave it crap so i sepperated the rear housing from the turbo found oil and SCRAPE!!!! marks inside the rear housings so that turbo went in the bin!!! THEN IT BEGAN!!!! I got a good price on a gt42 and being the clown i was back then i thought ''ohh ill just modify the ebay manifold to suit''' then i hit the problems lol. *fuel system *driveline *motor *manifold bonnnet wouldnt close So i got a manifold made up and that was sorta the turning point for me so i just said screw it and went all out.... The manifold, dump and screamer was custom made buy extreme turbo manifolds (Pm duz360's for infomation Leighs a sick **** he can do anything you want) i also got the turbosmart 48mm gate thru him. Now That the exhaust side was taken care of i focused on the drive line i bought a 2sp powerglide ,1 peice tailshaft and a 28spline fullspool. Next was the fuel system witch i still havnt finished as now im chasing more power. All the parts i got for the fuel system were sourced through vpw(pauls a great guy and looks after us CT users) 910cc injectors 2x 044 pumps (i have one) 2x 3L surge tanks (has to be done) 1/2 inch fuel lines (just have to run them) Blue fuel rail microtech Lt10s I also grabbed a commetic headgasket and an alloy radiator. Thanks paul.. Basicly i had the car looking like this. Then i stripped it all for paint....... Then i orderd a motor Through STONE RACING...... he looked after me on the price of the motor cheers willy..... And i also orderd a Full custom sump through extreme turbo manifolds. Ill keep you guys updated!!! Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
