hey every one i just got quoted $150 to get my vlt heat shield, cam cover and fuel rail chrome dipped what sort of price's have people been quoted and what for?

A Place in Coburg. Seen Steve's engine bay (who hasn't)? They did his fuel rail, bolts, and other bit's and pieces. I am getting my plenum, fuel reg and fuel rail polished this week at a place in just around the corner from Steve's shop and sending my bolts to get chromed at the same place he got his done. I'll post up some pics when it's all done Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

You pay for what you get. It's not cheap, $2 a bolt, Rocker cover alone is 12 bolts. Fuel rail is 8 bolts, CAS 2 bolts, ect The list get's rather expensive. Bigger items are always going to be more expensive. Not sure how much Steve paid for the fuel rail, but damm it looks good

just buy stainless bolts and polish them...easy! very jewish to re use 20 yr old bolts!

It is dearer to get the bolts chromed rather than use stainless so who is a jew now Fuel rail cost me 100 from memory and is actually nickel plate. I paid a bit more as I had them rushed through in under 7 days which believe me for a chrome job is quick! I know many people who have been ****ed around a lot by chromers and have taken as long as 3 months even though promised 2 weeks! Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

dont be a jew and just pay it they wanted 100 bux for a wiper motor housing (looks like a cup) its expensive because they have to clean and polish the metal part before it gets chrome dipped
