Hi guys just bought a VLT and am wondering if anyone would have a rough estimate of power before a dyno. Its a berlina.
Mods are:
Forged pistons
Aftermarket cam
Bigger injectors
T4 turbo with external wastegate
intercooler
EMS stinger ecu
XF throattle body on standard inlet manifold
Built gearbox. 3200 stall convertor
rebuilt diff with 3.9 gears.
boost controller.
malpassi fuel reg
exhaust
Just roughly what power would be right to expect and a rough 1/4 mile time if i were to run slicks. cheers

you probably need a fuel pump

what's with the aftermarket ECU and the malpassi fuel reg. iv got an ems i up sized injectors and pump and i didnt need one i thought if you have engine management it was usless ?
and as for power well your fuel pump will limit you to 220RWKWs give or take

Sorry forgot to mention. 044 pump and a surge tank.

Power figures would be around 210 to 220krw, & 12.5 quarter mile

depends on the T04....could be a TO4Z or an old school bus turbo with .63 rear. Im thinking that will be a major piece of the pie

Im questioning that myself. The reciet for the turbo says its a T4 turbo that cost the guy $1500. Unfortunately doesn't say the type of t4 it is. With the 3200rpm stall convertor it begins to hit boost just after that rpm and is on peak boost at around 4g im sort of guessing. I put it on a hoist at my work and the turbo from underneath is ****in big, although that doesn't help much. I doubt its as big as a to4z. To the stall convertor it seems to match it very well. power of the car seems pretty good to me. Had a vlt a few years ago but this one lights up at 80-90km/h with 235 rubber on the rear. guess the only way to tell is to run it on the dyno and track i guess but yeh just after a rough estimate.

27-07-07, 14:20 GMT+10#18 Its on 14psi atm. when i get it tuned see how it goes. I know at the moment its running quite rich so should be able to feed more boost in it when it goes on the dyno
