Geez on a VN... you'll struggle. Id imagine youd need to roll the gaurds if theres even the slightest chance they'll fit under.

Id agree with TWO89, ive seen 245's and i imagine he would of scrubbed when driving. Altho it looked *** tuff. Was parked in a shopping centre too so would of been a bit hairy taking a sharp turn on a rim that looked 6" wide too

should fit if you can get your rim to the centre ...any oversized tyre and you will have to roll your guards .....

Yeh it would fit, there was a guy on SC running 265's on the back of a VN SS

it wont fit on a standard rim, if you have the center machined out and a wider rim positioned so that its in the center of the wheel arch then maybe, but i think you will need a bit of inner guard work and definately you will need to lip them. i had 265s on my vr on a 8' rim and it needed alot of work to make them fit now i have 275s and they fit alot better now i have shortened my diff 1' each side

no way a 265 tyre will fit on a standard vn, u will need to get the diff shortened, or put a vl diff in and also modify the guards and most likely get the rim machined or made to suit what u want.

265 would fit with a high offset. But I'm guessing this guy isn't going to go to Simmons and get them to make him a custom wheel

i also have heard of fitted a diff from a vl which makes it around 1 inch shorter each side which will allow you to run pretty close to 265. has anybody else out there done this conversion to there vn before and if so maybe give some info.

what tyres are you gonna run, ie; brand. Not many tyres that size for a 15inch rim these days i would of thought. Ive got 8 inch interceptors made up for slicks and would be interested in who makes 235\245s for a 15 inch rim. For 265s youd need at least a 9inch rim.... On a lowered VN id think youd struggle to get 265s under there without some modification to inner and outer guards. Why on a 15 inch rim? Most tyre mobs are concentrating on 17inch and bigger for wider tyres.
