Hey guys. Most of you would remember about a month ago my wifes VL Berlina was written off. After countless negotiations with the insurance company I had to let the old girl go. I would definately be attending the auction to buy her back but unfortunately with my injuries thats not an option at the moment. This car was mint mint mint condition, driven by my wife for the last 11 years. Many people on this site knew the car and would vouch for its condition. I have attended many auctions over the years and in my opinion the car will fetch around the $400 mark. For those of you whom might be interested in the car its listed to be auctioned at Pickles this coming Friday the 27th of July. I am posting up here as maybe someone out there may get themselves a bargain instead of U Pull It Elizabeth whom purchase 90% of old Commodores at Pickles Auction. Anyone wanting to know more about the car just ask and I'm more than happy to tell you its lifes history. Cheers all Simon

You the young lad that works there i spoke to ? spirit : Berlina Sedan, White, Series 1. 3.0 ltr, Auto. Motor 168,xxx kms. Genuine. Head done at at 131k. Trans awsome. Im good mates with Carl from Salisbury Automatics. LPG near new fitted around September 2006. 4 off 15 X 7 ceptors with re88's. 80% tread. Exhaust stock, replaced from cat back less than 12 months ago. Interior Red, fully optioned. Was mint before ding but I noticed a few small stains on the front seats, probably from tow truck driver or crash shop. Damage : Front - Heavy Panel, Heavy Structural, Nearside Front. After the insurance company reamed me I went back and flogged the electric window switches, and a few other goodies along with the rego and cashed it in. Cheers Simon

Thats the one. You would have towed it from Coventry road to Gawler Body Works. Believe it or not the interior was 100% Berlina which looks better than my series 11 Calais in my opinion. Paint was all origional as well except a couple of touch ups. Polished with Nu Finish every 6 months for the past 11 years. Yer I removed switches and a few other goodies which I will probably flog off on here soon Cheers Simon Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Yer when those dodgy RAA ****s only gave me $2400 for the car I thought it was justified to grab whatever I could out of the old girl. Cheers Simon
