You can get your factory one bored out. It wont make a big difference on its own, but done with the above mods all at once you will notice a good improvement

Whack a supercharger on it and exhaust and dont look back. There is one for sale in the 'for sale' section atm. When you sell the car, take the charger off and get your money back! ( or most of it)This is just my opinion, hope it helps. Alex

Alex would love to put a supercharger on it, but have to drive it to work every day. where can i get a 70 mm t/b from?

i think it would still be very driveable with a supercharger, its only when u start playing with big lumpy cams and compression that they start to get temperamental.

they are legal? only if u tell the officer its the air con pump...

nah some (centrifigual) superchargers are adr compliant which means they pass epa and emission tests..but by this u can only modify the rest of ur car within limits or else ul void the compliance of the blower & car once again altogether. capa sell a few blowers that are adr compliant they come with the adr certificate all u need to do then is just get the engineer to sign it off.

what do u think, i can get a capa v1 blower for $1500 but need the bits to put it on.

thts a really good price!..for that price i wouldnt miss it depending on its condition ofcourse.

das anyone know what all the other bits will cost for the s/charger?

bout another 500-1000 think its 400 for the bracket to suit ur car. then some other things. go on capa site. www.capa.com.au (http://www.capa.com.au) or something and look

If you are looking at the reco V1s from Capa for $1,600, you need all the other bits and pieces too. I asked them a year or so ago and this is what they said Quote: Originally Posted by capa I can do a kit with a reco unit, it will save you $800 off the kit price ($6,695) Its not really that cheap
