after two racing seats iv seen them around for 300ish a pair but cant remember where if anyone knows or has some for sale thanks,preffer new but 2nd hand in top cond is ok too, and how hard if anyone knows are they to fit in a vl, also legal or not???? thanks

legal if you get it engineered, if you remake the brackets. The last install i did were with non adr compliant seats. I never got pulled up with them in the car so i never had hassels from cops. I just had a bit of metal about 25mm high between the stock rails and the seat, which was the simplest way, but the seats were sitting very high going that route, but that's the way i liked it. The seats i've purchased for my Zed are from a eastern states comany.... but i havent seen any good looking seats for that amount of money. I paid about 900 total with shipping for no name leather seats which were adr compliant. Recaro copies.

make sure you sit in them first.... cause you may not be comfortable in any chair.... some are made for bigger people and some for real small people @_@

go the buckets! they are comfy as on short drives but dont go on long drives can be a little uncomfy after a while i dont have certificates for mine got my yellow off easy as no hassles

try justjap,they have heaps of recaro/sparco/bride copies for next to nothing.

When i took the other car into the pits to get permits for all the silly stuff police pick on they pit inspector didnt question the seats at all, and they have the power to defect your car right then and there. If you want race seats, if you can find me a pair of series 2 calais seats in grey with rails I will swap you and you can make up the difference. ok ill have a look im keen as were they hard to fit?? how much wood you be looking for if i cat find calais seats?? they sound hard to find lol

i have a pair of series 2 calais seats in grey. back are imacculate but front have a few little holes and could do with a clean, good conditon though. also i got my seats off ebay for 350 for 2 delivered great seats but very hard to find. only come up now and again.

Depending on the condition of the calais seats? I dont mind fair wear just not dirty ciggie burns or tears etc... The race seats will be a direct fit, out of my calais into another. Cheers Arie
