Yeah these hoses are notorious...! Should have a bit of positive pressure in tank, so when you take off filler it should go "woosh" if it doesnt you are wasting fuel <guh> I use silicon hoses with new clamps but might need to pull tank out to get to the fittings on top side of tank <aaaarrrgh>

I just did all these on my daily (breather hoses), not one was left intact. If you do a search there is a diagram of how they all go which shows everything really clearly.

I just finished doing mine on my daily. only problem i had is that the the last breather hose seems to be way to small to connect to the carbon canister line.. and since there was nothing left of the original hoses im not sure what they used to plub it up.. i started to think i ****ed up somehow

It's an 8mm hose I think (not too sure). How do you feel you've stuffed something up?

Does anyone know how its meant to be connected?

it's a bizarre setup, where the breather line is fed into a larger rubber hose, which slips over the metal line. Like a hose-in-a-hose with a clamp over the top, if you can imagine that.

Is this the one you're after? Found it from another thread. The smaller hose is maintained in the larger piece via two clamps you squeeze so they expand. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
