I agree with zanjara. I found when i sealed mine up first time the bottom of the light didn't seal properly. You gotta tigten the nuts abit then tuck the rubber in

with the water inthe lights very common just drill a very small hole in the botton of each light and it will drain out by its self

hmm ok. i think i'l just drill holes in both blinkers. and go nuts with silicone around the rest of the boot. my sub has a puddle of water most days. and the condensation on the boot lid is getting worse Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Don't drill the lights, it'll look dodgy as. just silicone around the lights, garnish and u'll be right. Take ur time and do everything right the first time. I'm currently fixing water excess problems in my boot. Hope to post something as soon as i'm done.

doesnt look dodgy at all coz u cant even see the holes... were talkin ur smallest drill bit... 2mm or something and its under the light so its hidden... This is what we used to do in a crash repair i worked at. Get in the boot with a flash light. Close urself in the boot. Get a co-worker (or in ur case trusted mate) to use a hose and spray water over the rear end of the car. Use the flash light and look for leaks.

thats exactly what we do spirit cmon its pretty simple fix first you have to find where its coming in and then deal with it no use doing all this sh1t and then its coming in down the back of the windscreen or something and then you have sealer and sh1t everywhere for no reason

I had the same prob years ago, removed the lights, resealed them with plenty of sealant and still had the same prob. I drilled a 2 mm hole under each light right at the bottom and never leaked again. Water can also leak in through the side molding strips too, i jumped in the boot with a torch while friend sprayed it down with a hose.

I got the same problem but I haven't replaced any seals yet but I can see some of the water is coming from the tail lights seals. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

if u didnt take the rear window out when it was resprayed theres a good chance u hav rust holes under it like mine did. hav a look under the parcel shelf inside the boot

ok, problem almost solved. coming in thru back window, hence why the back window gets terrible condensation. will be removing it and gettin the roof lining changed at the same time. *it was removed when we sprayed it, just needs more silicone. its worse then pamela anderson, i swear.
