Hey guys, just wondering if anybody knows if a ford 4.0l xr6T motor will fit into a vl and the ford gearbox? does anybody make conversions for this motor? has it been done before!

Will be an absolute nightmare to fit, being longer, taller and wider than an Rb, and the cast alloy sump means big $$ for a fabrictaed item to correctly clear the crossmember. I'd say stick to a V8 or nissan 6, or fand another vehicle to transplant it in. 6BOOST

just buy an XR6T. I had one of those keep up with me in 4th gear the other day on my bike. Thats a fair effort for any vehicle.

Yes but they can't do it with stock turbo, manifold and engine and make full boost at 2500rpm can they. Nor have the extra 200ft/lb of torque to go with it. Remember, torque wins races, hp wins dyno comps Still too much hassle though. 6BOOST Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
