Hi everyone,
Performance Car Mania is an event I put together at Winton Raceway. This year will be its second year and is looking to be a great event. I am in the process of putting the finishing touches to the event at the moment. Entries are open and they are cheaper for early bird entries.
The event is a street machine style event with Drift, Drags, Burnouts, Cruizin, go-to-whoa, dyno and sound comps, show and shine and club displays. Last year there was 130 cars and everyone got that much track time they had enough by the end of it.
There is no prize money becuase we are aiming at the grass roots stuff, not many people actually get a shot at winning the money anyway, and it is all aimed at having a bit of fun, and last year certainly was that.
The event is on September 21-23, 2007 with scruitneering on the friday afternoon before some grudge match drag racing under lights on Friday night, which is all just a bit of fun and the event officially kicks off on Saturday.

are there like garages to leave the car in or do we just bring it back each day? I'd be dropping the pipes for the crusing and drags so i have to trailor it there and back each day if no facilities available.

well by reading the website you CANNOT drop pipes. there is garages there for hire 175 bucks for weekend or 350 for a double. the 175 is a shared one. looks like i'd be a good event will probably head up for a look doubt i'd enter with work etc.

i was gonna push to have my ready and entered, but that's the same weekend as parklife and im going to be rather incoherrant

Sorry but all cars MUST have a effective muffler. That is our rule and also a local bi-law due to the noise restrictions.

no worries, all good, probably should've looked longer and harder on the website. Providing i still have the car i will be there, sounds like it will be an awesome day.

BigDaddy an event time schedule would be good prior to the event so that everyone knows whats happening. Is there going to be a cruise into benalla which I heard rumours of the other day? If so should be good.
Anyway cant wait will be a top weekend
