Can anyone tell me where I can buy new/re manufactured front struts(not the inserts but the whole strut) and do the VN/VP use the same strut. Will consider a s/hand pair but they must be straight and prefer Bris,Gold,Sun area. Thanks

Any suspension shop or auto parts store will be able to get you new strut bodies.

VB-VL use the same strut leg. VN-VP have the same leg but also has the sway bar mount on the strut too. All will fit a VL.

Have you found any yet? I've got a chromed set with new lowered (lovells maybe?) springs I might sell, as I'm considering coilovers. Here's a pic, but it's just the actual struts and springs, not the insert. PM me an offer if you keen Quote: Originally Posted by vhr32 VB-VL use the same strut leg. Some welding required to fit it or not? http://activedisplay.com.au/catalog/...products_id=33 (http://activedisplay.com.au/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=33) Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

sorry to interupt, not worth making a new thread, but does anyone know how to remove the shock insert to replace it?

I am thinking of getting that kit so I can get the tie rod ends.... Whenever I make coilovers, I use the VN/VP tube so it can fit a wider range of cars when the customer goes to sell.

Tie rod ends are different as well? I just bought some to suit VL Sorry if it sounds dumb..I can't picture that part do you recommend this upgrade from a handling/comfort perspective? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

The tie rod ends in that pic are just rose joints and tube extenders to make the tie rods longer which I need because im using VS front suspension and longer control arms. Normally you just use factory tie rod ends on most street/race cars.
