Ok now, in my vs i have a prob with my door.... it wasn't closing, so i fiddled around with the thing that catches the door (the bit that keeps it closed), well when i closed the door it was fine, until i tried opening the door again????????? WTF I CAN OPEN MY DRIVERS DOOR no matter how i try to open it it wont open... and the door handle feels like its not opening the door, like theres no pressure on it???? please help me as i cant open the door. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

can you open it from the inside? the last time i had a problem like this was on a rodeo, i ended up having to rip the door trim off so i could access the internals of the door, if worst comes to worst you will have to do that, when inside the door itself, try lifting the handle up and see either what isn't connected or what is jammed, you may even get lucky trying to fiddle with the strike itself??? you are really going to have to fiddle round with it a bit yourself because there is quite a few reasons why it would do this, all failing that, ring a locksmith

thanx nish but i tried from inside too, got a locksmith to come out aswell, he couldnt open it.. its jammed from the catch itself??? been to panel beater too, he had no idea and i might have to join RACV to get it open..

Have you tried to use a bit of force or pressure on the door as you try and open it?

im a panel beater and live in hampton park you can bring it to me and i could have a look if you want not promising nething but cheaper then racv
