hi guys well i got this when i got my learners and it was stock and faded and had not enough power to chirp 1st with little tyres on it I wanted more hp and i wanted to do some 4wding and wanted a stero etc So anyway i spent like $12K on it now to get it to this point inlcuidng lift and tyres and all that stuff. Model: 1988 Gq Ford Maverick/Nissan Patrol Colour: Black Bodykit: 3" Lift with 33" tyres Engine Type: Tb42 Turbo Engine Mods:Stock engine with brand new AMC head with graphite gasket and fire ring. Low K motor only done 160K's. Also running straight LPG with gas research gear. Power: 280rwhp/210rwkw on 33" TYRES would make well over 300rwhp on 31's Exhaust: 3inch turbo back one resinator Gearbox: 5 speed truck gearbox Diff: big strong one Brakes: 4 wheel disc Suspension: 3" dobision lift Wheels/Tyres: 33" Micky Thompson MTZ mudterrain Interior: standard patrol apart from a few bits i done to it Other Mods:too many to list really the list is endless Stereo: Pioneer headunit with sub and pioneer speakers all round and amps. Build Period: 6months and always envolving Cost: too much Contacts: Not sure Future Mods: alot plan on 4" Snorkle stainless steel and 35" tyres and 2" body lift. Cheers guys yeah it's all running sweet as now.. It was blowing a little smoke only on idle and back off not when u hold the throttle on and it had me stumped till i checked the oil and found i over filled the oil a 1L or so. Came to a conclusion that the turbo it's self was draining due to the fact the return line would hold oil over night and sump was too full. So drained some oil and doesn't blow smoke anymore when idling etc not sure if does when driving or not. Next thing is too find out how to tell if ya engine is nice strong and healthy or tired and should lower the boot before things break. Cheers Rick. Some new pics..
